Department of Administrative Hearings Case Search  This is a great site to find Final Orders from Due Process Hearing for the school districts of Florida.  For instance, for Polk type in Polk County School Board in the blank next to Respondent, and all of the Final Orders which the school system has participated in for the last 10 years will come up.  The first item, AS vs. Polk County School Board, is Drew's case.  Because the decision has not come down, there is nothing to find.  The second item, D.B. vs. Polk County School Board, has had a final decision.  Click on the case number, 03-4282 E, then when the new page comes up, on the blue bar to the left you have a choice between downloading the file as a Adobe pdf file or a Word file.  Click on the case number under the appropriate symbol, and you will have the final decision.  You can go school district by school district looking for Final Orders involving ESE students.  I read quite a few of them.  ESE parents will learn the law can help you if you know it.  The Final Orders will give you a better understanding of the law.
