Florida DOE "Audit" - WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

When you hear your county is going to be monitored or “audited” by the Florida Department of Education, you can find the monitoring report for Polk County below, and also find the annual report submitted by Polk County in response to the findings.  Some may find the reports and responses satisfactory.  I did not.  At least you will know what to expect and what not to expect from the process.

Fifteen months after the 2002 "audit", Polk County submitted a report to demonstrate that the strategies plan was being implemented.
